Scope

The client required the full refurbishment of the cast iron railings which form the perimeter of the Mappin Building and Mining Block at the University of Sheffield. The building is listed and also in a Conservation area. The project entailed strengthening works and repairs/replacement of exiting cast iron railings to improve their safety and structural integrity.
