Newell’s Projects Ltd were awarded the project to refurbish and re-model Bunker 8084 located on Harper Hill, Buxton for the University of Sheffield.

The project involved significant design portions which included a Bespoke Blast Test Chamber Door, and a Firing Range Hatch all designed to achieve Blast Test Loading design parameters. External works consisting of demolition of the rear quarter of the existing bunker to receive the new blast test chamber. New roof coverings, stairs to roof inc guard rails, fascia and gutters, civils inc new front and rear concrete aprons, ductwork.

 

Internal works consisting of concrete repairs, new masonry reinforced range wall, steel works with associated builders works, M&E, Décor, Joinery, Specialist supply and install of attack rated security doors, Grid ceilings, Resin floor, IPS & Lab furniture.
