Mappin building, from the 1900s is part of the Engineering Faculty at the University of Sheffield. As part of street upgrade, there was a requirement for the addition of a DDA compliant ramp and guardrail to allow external access for all to the reception and café areas within.

It was completed within budget and on time for the start of the new academic year.
